The body raises temperatures when a person is active during the day and lowers it when sleeping. When a guest checks into your hotel room and goes to sleep, the body sheds off temperatures and continues cooling down to the lower point around daybreak. 

To be able to fall asleep, the human body factors in a number of things, such as light and reducing temperatures. This is why all rooms should be maintained at the right range of temperatures.
